Wino – Wine Journal · Last updated 25 September 2026
Wino collects no data. The app has no account system, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDKs. Nothing you enter is sent to the developer, and the developer cannot see any of it.
Everything you type or photograph in Wino — wine names, producers, vintages, grapes, regions, prices, ratings, tasting notes, dates and label photos — is stored on your device.
If you are signed in to iCloud, that same content also syncs through your own private iCloud database, so it appears on your other devices. It is held in your personal Apple Account, under Apple's terms, and the developer has no access to it. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
When you attach a photo, iOS shows its own photo picker and hands the app only the pictures you choose. Wino never requests access to your photo library as a whole and cannot browse it.
Delete individual bottles by swiping a row in the list. Deleting the app removes its data from that device. To remove the synced copy, use Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage on your device.
Wino is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, regardless of age.
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new date.
